My Sewing Studio
This is my sewing studio. I am always curious to see other quilter's work spaces so I thought I would share mine. I am especially proud of the design wall that allows me to lay out my work before sewing and see if I like the fabric placement. It's really just a flannel backed tablecloth that is hung on the wall with push pins. So easy! It's much better than a bed or the floor, which is how I used to lay out my quilts prior to sewing.
The room is a little sparse since it very recently was used to house batches of foster kittens for a rescue group I work with in Kirkland. I'm proud to say we helped 16 kittens (and mom cats) get healthy and ready for adoption over the past year. I am sorry to see the kitties go, but I'm glad to have the room back.
Thanks for stopping by.
